The Guardian: "Understanding 'aerosol transmission' could be key to controlling coronavirus"

Julian Tang is a clinical virologist and honorary associate professor in the respiratory sciences department at the University of Leicester. Last week he wrote an excellent piece in The Guardian. Essential reading!

Growing evidence suggests one of the main ways Covid-19 spreads is through the air. We don’t need to see the virus to understand how it spreads. Recent studies from China show that patients infected with Covid-19 in clinical settings exhale large amounts of virus, which remain present in the air and can be sampled and detected.
